There is no way anyone can use the Burg vs. SV preview game as an example of what is to come for the Burg..!!! PREVIEW...Burg didn't use Bendolph, and the starters were mixed in..the first group had a few starters and a few bench players and then they switched a few minutes into the quarter! Barrick would never show anything in a preview game! Plus, Burg didn't press, which is usually a nightmare for the opponents! The whole reason IMO for previews is to show off your "new jerseys" and run through your offense the right way. Maybe it didn't use to be that way but it is now.

This game will be good...but some people are here are way over looking the Burg. Seriously, if Burg played SV 4 quarters, with Burg starting their startes and pressing a lot like they usually do, I see Burg beating them by 25-30...IMO. Maybe more, but Barrick doesn't run the score up on people.

Tommorow it will all spill put on the court and we will see! This game has some hype! Almost feels like a tournament game at the convo!!! oooo how I love tournament time! Go Burg!

can burg score from the outside. hopefully wards jumper has improved and he takes advantage of the looks he gets. hard to beat burg by 50. barrick ball does not really allow for such a defeat. burg will control the tempo and that usually helps to determine the margin of victory or loss. tough opener for both. should be fun to watch.

The kid will eventually be a starter and is a match up nightmare. He is 6'4 and can run the floor, get to the rim, rebound, etc. He is a 3 so I do not see many 6'4 3's in this area. He will cause a lot of problems because of his size.

Your Persin comment may be the most ignorant I have ever witnessed on this site. Where did it get him? It you did not notice it got him a State Championship last season, and before that it got his teams to the Elite 8 9 different times. He should be ashamed of his top 10 career wins in the state, right? Your logic is very flawed if you ever had any at all.
