Would like to see River get back on track. Pilots have the wherewithall to have a winning season. Got to find a way to get those guys ready to advance in the tournament, or make the OVAC one.

The charge call was the correct call. Tucker got caught trying to do too much. He simply ran over 2 defenders like they were tackling dummies.
Might be...send me a priv. message and we'll talk.

River had an awful night shooting. 4 of 25 from the 3. River could of possibly been 4-0 if they could make foul shot. Thats what killed them vs. Caldwell. They shot 10-21 from the line. They have Guards. I thought guards were supposed to make free throws. Caldwell is much better than last year. River has a tough non-pvc game this week vs. Magnolia.

Bet River's practices have been "intense" yesterday and today.
Re: PVC Schedules, Results, and Standings 2010-11
Got to find a way to stop that Winters kid. He's one of the OVAC's best. Tallman does a great job with those guys over in New Martinsville.
River needs to play smart and play at a high level. They don't produce shooters like they used to in Pilot country. Ryne Romick was pretty darn good, so was Jeremy Stimpert, but they need consistency.

The offense over there in Hannibal needs to excite the fanbase. Where are all the 80+ points games like we used to see back in the day? The PVC is seriously up for grabs for River, but the players better think about qualifying for the OVAC tournament ONCE.
Good luck River. Win those home games.

PVC is an FF league this year until someone else does something.Fort Frye beat Caldwell 57-39 and is now 6-1 (4-0).All the league wins were on the road and they have not played Frontier or MC.With Watson now back 100 percent they will be hard to beat in league.

Yes they will be hard to beat at home. FF's a pretty decent team, not one of their best by any means, but when everybody else is going to be around .500 when the season ends it won't be too tough to win the PVC.

Yea but the team is getting better.Eddie Watson tore up his shoulder and is finally healthy scoring 20 points tonight. The teams best 2 players Smith and Eddy are young and improving. The more the season gets going the less he is playing certain players. They are getting better. This is a good team with a good coach all they do is win.Hilverding is not forcing it and is shooting well as of late. They are going to finish around 15-5 and have a good chance at districts.

Re: PVC Schedules, Results, and Standings 2010-11
I understand what you are saying, I don't disagree that they'll win 15 games. I and some others are simply saying that the overall quality of the PVC teams is down again this year. That includes FF as compared to some of their past teams. I know that means nothing this year, but we are talking about this year vs. past teams. Heck, my 1990 Skyvue team at 8-12 would kill most of the teams in the PVC this year and in recent past years for that matter. This years' FF team would get drilled by many of the teams FF has had since around the mid 90's. They would absolutely get hammered by the 1989 team FF had. And the one that went to state. And Engle's jr and sr. years. And the team with the Archer boy.
Remember eastern, I've got 10-15 years of age on you. I was playing HS varsity b-ball when you were born.

Yea I have been to the state tourney 5 or 6 times. Also been to a ton of tourney games all over the state. Why are we compairing this FF team to the great teams at FF?Agreed they are not one of the top 10 ten teams coached by Dan.They are improving and shoot the ball really well.

Because you always tell us how good they are, every year. They just happen to be able to navigate the PVC and their schedule well. That makes them winners, not necessarily great b-ball players. Again my 8-12 senior year team would drill this year's team.

I could careless about your 8-12 team.Dude I have right on about this team all season.I have not said they are final 4 bound or anything.I have said they are going to finish 15-5 with a shot at districts nothing more.Stop compairing them to the past its dumb. All they can do is win the games on the schedule.Last week you said they would lose 3 or 4 in the league. You are just a haterr.

Nope, not a hater. But they have proved me wrong by winning some close games that I thought they might lose. Ex. Shenandoah, River... OK "dude" as long as we get the straight facts and not rosy infatuations from you all is good.

So, if you could careless, aren't you implying that you do in fact care about his 8-12 team? lolEasternDspy wrote:I could careless about your 8-12 team.Dude I have right on about this team all season.I have not said they are final 4 bound or anything.I have said they are going to finish 15-5 with a shot at districts nothing more.Stop compairing them to the past its dumb. All they can do is win the games on the schedule.Last week you said they would lose 3 or 4 in the league. You are just a haterr.
