He did a great job of keeping our offense rolling despite most of the rest of the team having an off night. Blake had 42, Jake had 9, and Trent had 9 but the rest of the team combined for I think 5 points. Everybody will be ready come January 25th...should be one heck of a rematch.streetballer wrote:justice played one hell of a game and kept his team in it i give him props for that..

Good post. I'm not sure why Blake Justice draws the criticisms some like to lay on him. Maybe some just want to find fault with him because of what a great player he is. I'm not from Peebles but I recognize a quality player and he is easily one of the best to come from this area. I have yet to see him play a game and come away thinking that he was a selfish, cocky, or a showboat and I've seen him a least two times a year since he was in 7th grade. Most importantly the few times I have spoken to him I have never come away thinking he was anything other than a well mannered and nice young man.dunkfest34 wrote:some of you ppl r unbelievable...justice by no means was worried about stats and u could tell after the game...any normal kid would be extremly happy now being known as the 3rd all time for 3's n a game...he played well and did what he needed to do to keep his team in the game...countryman got in foul trouble early which really hurt the indians..seein as he is the next best scorer on the team ...when u play good teams ur true players stand out...if u watched the game close enough...the kids were doing what they could to get the ball to justice when he was hot..mcfarland couldnt hit a shot outside n had 2 air balls....kids a good shooter just stuggled last night and it happens..arey got the ball to justice well..but had to many TO's n the game..and down the stretch justice ony shot one shot and that was a missed 2 pointer..so lets not take anything away from the kid..he did what he needed to..to try and keep his team n the game..i dont think any of the players would be mad at him for that...as a team the indians couldnt get it going..that'll change when they have countryman for 32 min...him and justice are a tough tangent to handle

Yeah I wasn't trying to diss WU either just wanted to change the subject. Anybody plan on going tonight? Unfortunately I can't go but hopefully it will be a good game to watch. Good luck to both teams.

As a Indians fan i was pleased to see a well rounded game tonight. Congrats to Peebles on the win, and i would like to say West Union hustled the hole game.

Peebles guys and girls came away with big wins. Not sure on the exact girls score but the Indian guys won 73-36 playing 12. Peebles was paced by Blake Justice with 23 followed by Jacob Daniels with 12 and Andy Countryman with 10. I would also like to add that the bench did an excellent job....AJ Chamblin and Brandon Leedy came in and scored 8 apiece while also contributing big on D with Dalton Fischer. Also I wanted to say congrats to Dylan Rinck and Jerison Harper for scoring mixing it up and getting their first varsity points.

Blake Blevins was named MVP of the tournament tonight. Combs, Justice, 2 boys from NA, and one WU player were honored also. I cant remember the other 3 players names.
