Just how they drew it up - the D2 district championship match-ups are set! 1 vs 2 and 1 vs 2.

I'd love to come down and watch those two games, but I have wrestling this weekend. Hoping to see a couple of our guys win state. Maybe regionals next week.

Monday: Mark Hunter, Gary Baldwin and myself will break down all of the weekend hoops action from across the area.

Tuesday: head baseball coach at Nelsonville-York, Wayne Dicken, will be in studio to talk small ball on Tuesday.

Wednesday: We will be LIVE from the Convo at 6:06 during the Miller game to preview the Tomcats district semi-final vs South Webster at 8:00.

Thursday: Back in studio to preview the Bobcats MAC tournament game, amongst other sports topics.

Friday: Nathan Lamb and myself will once again be LIVE at the Convo from 6:06-6:45 as we preview the Vinton County Vikings district championship game vs Unioto at 8:15 on Friday.

... I'll catch tonight's show - should be good ! ... I have 2 evening meetings on Wednesday and won't be able to make the Wednesday Menu - IF the games had not been changed from tonight (Monday the 6th) I would have been good to go - I will make it to the Convo Tuesday night though for round 1 of the D4's (originally Rd 2) - looking forward to get my first look at Fairfield Leesburg - I have read, heard a great deal about FHS this season - they are too far from my Rte 23 comfort zone LOL ... FHS takes on Waterford ! it should be a great game imo ! that one is followed up by Eastern Pike vs ISJ ... my first time to see the Flyers as well this season ... so far the only teams that I hadn't already seen during the regular season has been Southeastern (I did see then in a preseason scrimmage - just not the same as game time though) or Paint Valley - now I have and both have shown some quality players and nice team chemistry ... AND I have that ALL IMPORTANT - District PROGRAM in hand as well !!! so all is good ...

The Regional these two teams are in is played at The Convocation Center in Athens.

Keep in mind there are 16 Regionals across the 4 Divisions played across the state. OHSAA has all of the brackets on their website.
