Toss - if the boys season end 3/1, how will a champion be determined? I'm guessing you meant regular season. Perhaps a coach or AD can clear up the confusion versus everyone speculating.

... yes that is correct ... games (make ups either league or nonleague games) can be played while either a team of both teams playing the makeup game are still playing in the post season ... games can not go past the end of the state tournament games ...

That is partially correct. The OHSAA Basketball Regulations states that the coaching season for boys ends March 1 (girls week earlier). Even though the District, Regional and State Tournaments are played after 3/1, the season for teams not still playing at the District level is over. This information is clearly stated in the basketball section of the OHSAA General Sports Regulations pgs 89-91. There is even a listing of the dates for each season through the 2018-19 season. The way it reads regular season games cannot go past the end of the Sectional tournament. :122246

Feb 22 for girls is the last day of Sectional play which is the same as the Mar 1 date for boys. The term used in the OHSAA Regulations is "coaching ends".
