Westfall gets their first win, 70-63 over Adena.

And then it took me an hour 40 mins to make the 35 min drive.

You are correct, I should have included the words "regular season". :122247

... yes that is correct ... games (make ups either league or nonleague games) can be played while either a team of both teams playing the makeup game are still playing in the post season ... games can not go past the end of the state tournament games ...

That is partially correct. The OHSAA Basketball Regulations states that the coaching season for boys ends March 1 (girls week earlier). Even though the District, Regional and State Tournaments are played after 3/1, the season for teams not still playing at the District level is over. This information is clearly stated in the basketball section of the OHSAA General Sports Regulations pgs 89-91. There is even a listing of the dates for each season through the 2018-19 season. The way it reads regular season games cannot go past the end of the Sectional tournament. :122246

You are correct Tossithigh ... The girls were told they must have all games played by Feb. 22nd.

Well before the "tournament season" ends.

Feb 22 for girls is the last day of Sectional play which is the same as the Mar 1 date for boys. The term used in the OHSAA Regulations is "coaching ends". :-D

93,

Not suggesting it be done but surprised this hasn't been mentioned; Sunday contests are permitted by OHSAA. It is strictly up to each school district to play or not play on Sundays. :12224

Waverly travels to Valley tomorrow Friday (this was switched from Waverly hosting)
Wavelry will the host Valley Saturday with JV beginning at 6:00p.m
The girls will be hosting Burg in the downtown gym with JV beginning at 2:00p.m.
(Girls Senior recognition may take place after the girls varsity game - before boys action)

Can't do that. It's to easy of a solution.
