Howell is the key to this game. If he shows up without any passion (which he has done a lot this year) it will be a close game. If he comes ready to play, Fairland wins this by 15-20. Thomas is as pure of a shooter as there is in Southern Ohio and Van Horn is a beast inside. Howell gives them that third option that most teams can't defend. He is lethal from 3 and is strong off the dribble. Good luck Dragons and both teams stay healthy!

Any thoughts on VC coming out in a 1-3-1 to start then keep on switching the D? Just thinking with a veteran team like Fairland....keep 'em guessing...throw in a 1-2-2 full court every now and then for good measure.

Fairland by at least 35. Vinton County needs to be more worried about the Yates and spires boys transferring to Meigs. Going to be a long year for the Vikings in 2018/19.

Why would Yates leave his senior year? Meigs won’t be great next year in basketball.

VC will be ready and prepared------- Combs to good not too be ready. It will come down to style of play and how tight the ref's call the game--Vc has to be aggressive and take ball to the rim. Caught just keep shooting 3's with a hope and prayer. Just hope for a great game--both ways. Either team will be very lucky to win.
