It's 8:15 at night, I live on The Plains, I can still barely get up the small hill into the Dresser Edition where I live. Doesn't matter who called it and when - it was probably the right call. Every team in southeast Ohio (except Eastern/Belpre) postponed. Game is tomorrow. No biggie. Good luck

I’m not going to debate this issue with you Travis. Pick away County had a Level 2 snow emergency posted by the sheriff. The game wasn’t played because of this. My opinion or yours doesn’t matter, period.

Well, the weather forecast says it’s suppose to be in the 40s, so hopefully this game will happen.

Wow. How can Athens cancel this game. It’s still 9 hours until game time and all highway. Just 8 miles of highway. Can’t believe this. This really upsets me. Was just past the school going to get a coffee. Their roads are fine was going 40 mph. Did not slip in my car. This was a weak move by Athens.

I highly doubt a single game in the TVC will be played tonight.

I hate it too. Snow days/cancellations suck. But in a lot of cases, like this one, the Superintendent makes the call. I can tell you the Super at Athens doesn't know squat about sports. He doesn't care if its big game, important game, not important or who is playing. lol

I could only imagine with that city! Please tell me you don’t live in city limits. Is Athens a sanctuary city? I hear in wheelersburg the super wears a helmet and jersey to work on game days!
