Win at all costs I suppose
They didn’t quit before the season, they were a few games in. They were given the choice to be 100% committed or walk and they walked.
Team also voted unanimously not to take them back. No idea what has transpired this week.
I guess we will find out tonight.

Nice win tonight for the Tigers. Great play out of the bigs getting a lot of rebound and second chance points

My MVP for the night though will have to go to Michael Goodman. From the start he was running all over the place, hustling after every ball, lockdown defense and was 2-2 from behind the arc tonight. I look for him to have the same intensity tomorrow night and hope the Tigers take it all! Should be a good matchup to watch

Nice! Good weekend for Waverly. I missed this one. Thought Alex would walk away with it.

Saturday

I'll be the first to ask, and probably not the last, why no Pike Eastern?
Just a guess: given that Pike Eastern is now a member of the SOC 2, there likely was a mutual agreement for the Eagles to bow out of the tournament so as not to have the possibility of three regular season games against the Tigers.

Don’t believe that’s correct because, they still had the chance to play Western 3 times in one year....

The rumor I've been hearing from multiple people is that Leist at Eastern was wanting a certain percentage of the profits made off of the Classic and that's why they refused to play in it. Since Waverly "refuses" to rotate the Tournament site each year to the other 3 schools in the county. Idk how true that is, just one thing being said.
