I did my list a little prematurely. If I did it again I’d probably replace Evan Legg with Tanner Perdue

Marc Kremin, 1987. 1296 total points,20.9 ppg,252 free throws made. Playing at the beginning of the three point era,Marc was a master of the half court game winning shot as Manchester can attest to as Marc hit two buzzer beaters spoiling their perfect season and putting them out of the tournament. 1. Larry Hunter
2. Ibi Watson
3. Joe Burrow
4. Steve Bruning
5. Sunny Kalu
I would have Todd Snider in there. Seen him take control of a lot of games. Wasn't the tallest player but he could jump out of any gym.

Waverly

John Shoemaker: Starred at Miami of Ohio where they knocked off the number 2 team in the nation at one point. John was drafted in the 6th round by the Chicago Bulls and was also drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers. He choose baseball where he made it all the way to AAA before retiring and coaching for the Dodgers.

Jake Kretzer: 6'7" and played primarily on the perimeter. Incredible range and tenacious competitor. Waverly's all time leading scorer. Solid career at Akron.

Onno Steger: Versital 6'5" player that lead the Tigers to within a last second shot of going to State in 1980. Great speed, quickness and mobility and could play inside or out. Great jump shot. Not sure about college career.

Denny Thompson: Long range bomber. Denny had a killer jump shot. If there was a three point shot at the time it's hard to imagine how many he would have made. With only three divisions for basketball in Ohio at the time, the Tigers made it to the state semi-finals. Arguably the best Waverly basketball team of all time. 1970 or so?

Can I choose a current player? :) ;)

A few other names: Phil Miller, Rick Eblin...Same team as Denny Thompson. Before my time.... Bob Thompson....played for Ohio State.

Would that have been Adam Shea? I can't think of anyone else but I might be missing someone. Harrison Martin was very good. I'm having trouble with the years they played.

Adam was very good. Great three point shooter and could get to the rim and finish. Real nice touch and fierce competitor. I'd have him in my top 10 players ever at Waverly.
