Re: Tues,1-5-21 games and scores.
Peebles had no legs at all. The quarantine really killed them. The forward Allen McCoy , Forward Franklin Myers, and guard Bryce Willoby are still not cleared to play for Peebles .Coach Arey has a lot of makeup work to do by Tournament time. They played stiff on defense, didn't box out, missed 5 layups in the 4th quarter and missed foulshot after foulshot in the 4th ,got the lead down to 4 points and couldn't get over the hump. Credit to Bearcats for for finishing up well at the foul line. Good luck going forward to the Bearcats and it's to the grindstone for the Indians.danicalifornia wrote: Tue Jan 05, 2021 8:35 pm Paint Valley 58

Good win for the Bearcats who are down at least two of their ballhandlers
I think Coach Arey will eventually get the Indians on track by Tournament time.

Peebles will right the ship by tournament time, but I am not convinced rust is the issue. I continue to be amazed that many core players are not buying into the identity that coach Arey is trying to push. They go 6'3, 6,4,6'3, 6'3, and with the exception of one, play small. This is a team that should physically dominate and overpower most teams. I know quarantines and lack of games factor in some, but until the boys follow Coach Arey, they will struggle. I know they can do this!

Lancaster is ranked in the top 10 of D1 so that’s actually a great showing by them.danicalifornia wrote: Tue Jan 05, 2021 9:25 pm Lancaster 65
