Score doesn’t surprise me one bit. The gap between SOC 2 and SOC 1 is HUGE. Valley has already played (and beat) several really good teams in the SOC 2… I predicted around 30 point win so this seems about right.

Tri-Village was undefeated last season and #1 in D4. Lost in regionals and return all of their starters. Will be fun matchup with Fairland.

Hurricane features two 7’ players and a fun clash of styles.

We are playing against two 7 footers?

I believe Hurricane has 6'11" Gabe Beny Till and a 6' 7" player named Darren Tingler. Per Maxpreps, the Redskins have only won one of 5 games. Three of those loses were to some of WV's better teams in Jefferson, Mussleman, and Parkersburg South (at Alexander Alley Cats). Hurricane's big man is not a game changer, but Tingler can be. Waverly's biggest challenge may be themselves. Back to back games after the intense loss to Newark, may see the Tigers less energetic than usual.

Yeah, for real about SOC I. I was wrong about Notre Dame, Western, etc. as I thought they were potential Regional contenders prior to the season. I don't see them being able to compete with Valley, Trimble, South Webster, etc. unless they get drastically better prior to tourney*

We said before the season started and we seen portsmouth scrimmage Valley that Valley could very well be the best team in this area hard to decide between them and waverly but I'd sure like to see that game.

Russell will be playing Ironton instead of Boyd County at 8:15. Russell was supposed to be playing Berea,Ky in the Raceland Derby Classic but they Canceled last minute and went to another tournament. So Russell didn’t have a game. I don’t know what happened on Ironton’s end with Boyd County but now it’s Russell and Ironton.
