According to the SHAC website, Manchester is 7-5 with wins over Portsmouth Clay, New Boston, Fayetteville, Ripley, Geen, Felicity, and West Union. Losses to Fairfield, Pendleton County, Eastern Brown, Whiteoak, and North Adams. It also has Lynchburg at 4-4 but I've noticed that sometimes scores are not put on the site for a few days sometimes.

They beat West Union on 12/29 in the consolation game of the county classic. That’s the one missing.
Score?

@pfloyd
SEDAB finally posted the 2024 tournament information.
https://www.ohsaa.org/Southeast-Sports- ... tball-Boys

In reviewing I discovered that the Divisional Breakdowns here (https://www.ohsaa.org/Sports-Tournament ... ll-2023-24) at not correct.
Fairland is still D-II. So you may want to compare the SEDAB posting with your division designations.

... you're saying that Fairland is D2? not D3 ...

Says Wheelersburg and Fairland are both at 185.

Fairland is comfortably in D3. They are listed in both D2 and D3 on the SEDAB site, which should come to the shock of nobody.

Yes. I've been told D-II.

I'll see if I can confirm.

So Fairland is competing in D2 this year but the OHSAA website had them listed in D3 with the wrong enrollment numbers, am I reading that right?

Now I'm confused. Everywhere I check on OHSAA, Fairland Boys are D-III, maybe the AD thought I was talking about the Fairland girls.

Can anyone report for sure Fort Frye’s record going into tonight’s game (Friday night)?

Belpre tops Trimble 57-50. Is Belpre undefeated in TVC-Hocking play?

I'm impressed with Belpre’s non-conference schedule. Warren twice, Fort Frye, John Marshall (Big School WV), Marietta, Meigs, South Webster, Wahama, and Williamstown twice (probably will play for a state championship in WV). Good for Belpre to schedule up….something they need to do to compete in D3 Sectionals/Districts bc the TVC Hocking Division (mostly D4 teams) will not prepare them.

Toughest of the season so far for the Tigers, would be nice to get another statement win especially with Warren looming next week.

Fairfield Union at Circleville and Hillsboro vs Adena should both be fun. Fairfield vs Western looked like it in the preseason, but things have gone south in a hurry in Latham and I’m not sure this is the game to bounce back.

It’s early, but the officiating crew has nearly lost the Marietta-John Glenn game already — just awful.
