SOSA has Wheelersburg winning 65-46. Which result is correct?

Monroe Central Athletic Department reported the score as

MC 65
Whlsbrg 46. I think SOSA got them backwards.

Getting it updated. Burg’s basketball account posted the score too, so I’m not sure how we got it mixed up.

Yes, in the most under publicized event ever at the Convo for HS basketball. I have no idea who played other than Monroe Central. I could not find a thread on here about the event, whatever it was.

Max Preps has it 65-46 MC. If so … nice win for the Noles

I did get confirmation from MC that the score is correct and Monroe Central was the victor. As for the rest of the mystery around this day of HS hoops at the Convo, who put it on, and who actually played besides MC Boys and Wheelersburg, well, that's a mystery to all of us. If any one can solve this one, I am putting my money on Detective PFloyd! :D

MC’s girls also played (vs Waterford) at the Convo today, interestingly enough.

Nice win against a quality opponent for the Noles. Next up is Parkersburg on Saturday.

Well, they've successfully made their way through the December gauntlet, against a couple of much larger schools and good competition, with no losses. The next six weeks should be fun to watch.

Next game is wheeling central in Woodsfield.

I hope it gets streamed, as there is no way I'm driving all the way up there for this game.

It should be on NFHS. All MC home games are on that platform. Also watch for it on YRPTv on YouTube though I doubt it will be on there.

I recently watched Monroe Central play and I must say, I’m impressed. C Allen and T Howell are both phenomenal. Extremely fun players to watch. They are 7-8 deep as well with not too much talent drop off. Very well coached and extremely good defensively. I’ll be keeping tabs on the Seminoles.
