What a great game by the Jeeps. Not even a close game. South Webster came in and punched them right in the mouth. All players contributed and probably the best performance from the Jeeps so far. Gotta 3 game week coming up and I look forward to Webster to beat all of those teams.

All of the players played great for the Jeeps and Stevens was amazing tonight. I think the Jeeps have a legit shot at state this year after tonight.

This beatdown tonight reminds me of when the 2006 team tplayed its first 5 games without its best player. You knew that team had a chance to win State win they drummed decent teams like Jackson and Valley by 30+ points without their full lineup.

Jeeps tonight did whatever they wanted on offense and controlled game against a solid team in Eastern from the start. Beau Stephens has stepped into lineup and replaced Sommer’s production. I really like McClintic’s game as well. When the Jeeps get Roberts back, this team is ready to make a run for another State championship.*

I’ve waited for someone to say it. But since no one will it needs to be said. This SW team is better without the missing player. Nothing personal. It’s just true. Addition by subtraction carries weight. The subtraction was a superb talent. But the addition is consistency. With the superb talent that’s what they lacked. Consistency (effort). This team is built for Division 7 basketball and will take them just as far if not further than last years team… if the current playing roster stays put. Plus they are easier to root for. Thats the community speaking, not just me. God bless.

Yes sir. Right on the money. Reminds me of Norms old scrappy teams. Let's see if the people in charge do the right thing for the team or themselves. I hope they actually surprise me and don't screw up a good thing and learn from the past

I can see the arguments from both sides about whether he should be allowed to remain on the team or not, but you can’t convince me that a D7 high school team is now “better” without a 6’7” college talent, even with repeated attitude issues.

Could Webster possibly go as far or farther in tourney without him? Sure. D7 is a lot easier than D4 was last year. But is Webster “better” without him? I just don’t see it.*
