The Burg has a nice team - best of luck throughout the tourney.
Belpre finishes a respectable 12 - 10 in coach Plummer's first year. This was a very young team that had to grow as the season went along. At times we played good ball and other times there were rough spots that you just have to expect.
With a year of valuable varsity experience under everybodys belt, I am looking forward to next season.
Thanks for all the hard work from the Eagle's staff and players.

congrats to the eagles on a fine season. you guys played a great game but were just out matched. for the burg it's on to a place that has become a home away from home the convo. how many straight years have the pirates made it to athens? i think this is the fourth straight year.

Nice start to the tourney by the Burg. Started out kind of sluggish and then Coach Barrick took them out onto the floor for one of his little "pep talks." He is the worlds best at this because you know he is ripping tail, getting his message across, yet we as fans in the stands can't hear him. It always seems to work.
Goodluck Pirates next Sunday in the district finals. The big thing Burg will be taking with them to the Convo is experience. Three players have played quite a few minutes up there the last two years and that could be a difference maker in the games up there. Little harder to shoot in a setting like that if you are not used to it.
Number 20 and number 31 for Belpre both have a nice game. I think they were either Freshman or Sophomores. Future looks good for Belpre.
