Good game. Webster just couldn't put a run together. Waverly's back court is no where as weak as people have been suggesting. They are pretty solid. They didn't force anything. Played pretty smart.

I need to make a public apology and this is the only avenue I know to make it. Everyone from Waverly knows who I am and I use my last name as my user name. I was the one tossed and I apologize. I felt Kretzer was hammered with no foul called and I yelled, "thats not a foul?" I think timing was the issue as the one official under the bucket apparently injured something and the other official took offense. I would never curse at or degrade an official but do yell at them in such manners as I did tonight. I am not at all proud of getting tossed and pray it does not blow my Christian witness. My wife tried to defend me and feels her witness was affected. Again, I apologize and will work on not yelling at refs at all.

Waverly is getting better & better, just beat a good SW squad on the road. Ward with a monster game. Corcoran is playing amazing and the guards are better than many give them credit for. Kretzer sat the entire 4th period with 4 fouls and didnt return until under 3 minutes remained and the Tigers maintained their lead. Kretzer & Kelly were both sick and I didnt hear the name of a 3rd player sick. No rest for the Tigers, home Friday against Northwest then to Chesapeake Saturday to play a good Athens team at 2:00p.m.

Owning your actions serves as a better witness than I think you are giving yourself credit for at this time. I've always believed it is the biggest of men who can stand up and own their mistakes honestly with their head held high.

If anyone deserves a pass on something like this it is you Sir. Your Christian witness will stay in tact and the fact that you bleed Waverly Black and Orange is understood and cover,d by the Blood of the Lamb. Sounds like bad timing with the official's injury. With Kretzer's leaping ability it is often dangerous when he gets in the air and can be undrcut or hurt. It is totally off the subject, but many of our officials down here don't see the Athletic ability of a Kretzer every night.

Sounds like the Tigers are playing well and will compete not only for the SOC crown, but the #1 seeding in the Sectional. Kudos to those kids like Ward who have stepped up big.

smurray, don't worry about getting tossed. If they tossed you just for that then they were way too thin skinned and might want to stop officiating.

Gee, I hate to be the bad guy/girl on here but when one of waverly's players went to the basket to dunk the ball and got blocked. There side went quite, referee got hit in the junk,and someone yelled loudly at him. Don't know what was said but was very angry and loud. Guy was tossed from the game. Good for you for admitting you did wrong, everyone new that who was at the game. I guess my point is if I run a stop sign and get caught I get a ticket, if I confess to the cop that I did it I get a ticket.
I still ran a stop sign, not the cops fault.

SMurray your passion for the tigers is unmatched!! Now if it was me i would just say what the heck I've been thrown out of better places lol but i understand where you are coming from and Im pretty sure you can be at peace with this. Now just dont go getting thrown out of a home game:)
Redridinghood dont know about your assessment of it, are you saying that everyone who yells at a ref should be given a ticket/ejection? Cause what you said is a stop sign is a stop sign so a yell is a yell? Or because it had a tone of anger its bad, from now on Im gonna yell I love you to the ref without a hint of anger but wait can i yell sheesh Im confused lol. Oh heck just give me 5 tickets Im running all the stop signs.
