yeah but either way we still won alot and he was a good coach with these kids from clay and he is still a good coach at Minford

I think Mr. Richards was offered the JV job. I think HE moved on because the varsity job wasn't offered. All in all, he is a good man, and a good coach.

What happened then? I was told he was interested in moving up, Mr. McCleese and Mr. Rose got with coach Trainer and offered him a Freshman / JV job and he said no. I know the Jr. high coach, and he said he was hired late because of what he was told was a "moving on" by the former coach. Coach Compton does have the upmost respect for Benji though.

either way i think he should've been the Varsity Coach he would have really helped this team win last year and this year

I spoke to a friend of coach Compton, he said coach Richards gave him some scouting help last year. He also was told that the 8th grade team of last year might win 4-5 games, and this year would probably not win a game. That might have helped him make his decision to go to Falconland. I won't be able to go to next week's games, so please give us a full report. Thanks in advance.
