Well Valley played a great game but these two teams looked terrible to me...turnovers were everywhere...roger thought it wasnt off before the buzzer "at first" and I would like to say that it wasnt (even though I REALLY think it wasnt) Valley still won the game....congrats to them

BURG shouldnt let this bother them....Still tied for the league correct?

They looked "terrible" because this was a hard fought, big game between the top two teams in the SOC.

Just because it was a big game doesnt mean they have to act all sloppy...the game would have still gone both ways but geez...we had like 3 straight turnovers in one stretch there

I guess....the fact is you dont like either school and take your shots as you can get them, but we're both FIRST PLACE in the league....If thats "terrible", we'll take it.

Congrats to the Burg kids on leaving it all on the floor...

The fact is I am from Wheelersburg and I would have to say that I respect Lucasville the most out of all the opponents I have faced...I know most of the guys on the team...and like I said we are tied so we shouldnt let it get to us.

Congrats to both teams...keep your head up Pirates

I watched it on the web and it looked like the shot was not off in time.
Congrats Valley.

Well then maybe you dont "dislike" both teams....lol My apology...I would be frustrated as well on that type of situation...

But like you said, tied for the SOC, so all is good...

I thought that Burg was going to put it away when they went up 8 in the 4th quarter, and Valley fought back....

I'm watching post game, and by replay they said the ball was in the net as the buzzer sounds...

Kudos to Valley for coming back...I think BURG should have been able to end it late but what can you do

I agree with you about the buzzer going off but dont they go by the lights of the #'s...and the backboard in college/NBA?

^^^ I'm pretty sure at the H.S. level it's buzzer, due to the fact that there are only 2 refs and they have to watch the action for fouls and etc...someone correct me if I am wrong, but I "think" thats how it goes...actually I have a good friend who refs he is OHSAA certified I'll call him and get the info..

High School doesn't have the benefit of the shot clock light, nor do they have instant replay in order to sort out the differences between a tenth of a second here and a tenth of a second there.
