I see one major thing that IMHO needs to be changed and I've seen it in a couple games this year is that they need to quit holdin on to the stinking ball for so long

[quote="biggdowgg"]thought about going to this game,but wasnt fighting this crowd,,,should be packed up there.[/quote}

You should have come. Plenty of seats on the Wheelersburg side. Where is the Burg pride? I think Waverly had as many fans as Wheelersburg. Secondly defense does it again. Stegman held to 6 points and two of those came in the last minute. Finally hit some foul shots hopefully that is all behind us.

Watch out Tigers for the athleticism of the Mighty Minford Falcons.

Stegman held to 6. Bendolph lead all scorers with 18.

Martin lead Waverly with 15, Kretzer added 11, Roback and Johnston both chipped in 9, Kelly 4, Malone 4, Remy 3. I think I have Waverly's scoring right.

Defense! Defense! Defense!

Waverly is not lighting up the scoreboard with 60-70 points a game but they are winning with great defense. Everyone knows their roll and each guy is playing with more and more confidence.

Celebrate this road win tonight then get ready for the more athletic Falcons

of Minford.

Decent game by the Tigers nothing to really write home to mom about, played good d, rebounded well and controlled the paint, made enough free throws to secure the win.
First time in their new gym though hmmm not what I would have expected them to build:(
Burg looked about the same as the first game slowwwww.

I don't like the layout of the new gym either but you gotta remember something. Burg was one of the very last schools in the county to get their levy passed and new schools built. In the 20 years since Webster has had their school, the state has clamped down big time on what you are and are not allowed to have regarding the dimensions, seating, etc of your gymnasium. In many respects, the school administration's hands were tied. Was there some leeway? Yes...some. But when you put all of the state's requirements together with the people's desires, you get what you got.

WOW, Whats happened to the Burg? All the starters back from last year and a transplant, you would have thought they were the team to beat. With Valley 2x, Ironton, Gallipolis and SW to play, they could lose 5 more times. I still say the talent level in the SOC is better than last year all around with the exception of West and Minford.

That game went about how I predicted, just Burg kept it a little close thanks to a few key 3's by Tyler Lang. Waverly did shoot better from the charity stripe, but still needs to shoot a little better. I agree with all of you on regards to Burgs gym very small & they didnt even fill it up. I did like the pep ection though, I wish Waverly would do stuff like that. Overall nothing great, Bendolph had 18, but in my opinion an unimpressive 18. But the kids tough & he kept putting it up, & with Stegman hurt thats what they needed. I just wanna know what happened to them, that team is better than what their record says.. IMO.
