OMG this is why I like these sports chat sites. It's fun watching people try to figure out who you are. Now you have me trying to figure out who you think I am.

I would like to congratulate the NW basketball team on a fine season. If I am not mistaken, this is the first trip to the Convo since the Jerry Barlow, Tracy Odle, Ketih Eichenlaub, Jason E. Smith, Jason R. Smith, Xavier Colley and Randy Newman team back around 98. NW played a very athletic ZT club tough all night. Congrats to the seniors Eric Frantz, Chaise Hall, Kreig Crabtree and Hank Leslie. Best wishes on your future endeavors after high school. A special thanks to Coach Scarberry and the job he did coaching the team this season.

I'm not from nwest but I did watch this game and became a nwest fan. Their man to man defense was the best I've seen. ZT ran a flex offene one trip down the court and there was hedges , help def as good as I've seen. For having a team heart and 1 basketball player they done a great job. If scarberry looses his job as coach after teaching these kids how to play the game the right way. Then no ones job is safe. I heard at the beginning of the game that scarberry was a ou legend? Did he play for OU I take it ?

Yes Scar played at OU in the early 80's for Danny Nee. OU had some really nice teams back then.

I wouldn't say Scar was an OU Legend on the floor! But he was a Court Street legend in his days in Athens!!!

Admirable season Mohawks! As the unofficial adjudicator of and authority on local Instructors of basketball, I perceive that Instructor Scarberry will revisit his position as the Northwest Varsirty Instructor, if he so chooses. Additionally, I would add that Shonna did an stellar job with the cheerleaders as well.

Well wishes to performer Hank Leslie at the academy! And the same to Eric, Mark, Kreig and Chaise in their future endeavors!

There has been no talk that I'm aware of that Scar is getting fired. Now there was speculation that he was stepping down to be principal full time, and from my sources close to the program that is a lie. (I sounded so cool saying that )

I agree that starting over in all the sports is stupid. BTW Football is the only sport that Northwest stuggles at.
