South Gallia - Who is going to make the varsity team?

their second team was a good as most christian school/WV teams starters. They would have beaten most teams around here? So they would have dominated the TVC OHIO, SOC 2 and SEOAL????? They would have gotten killed! and, like i said before could not have won even the TVC hocking.

OK lets get back to the topic of the Rebels this year.

This arguement is crazy it wasn't like South Gallia in 2005 dominated the world they were a 4 seed and got beat by 12 to South Webster . I just don't the whole theory on they lost by 12 but could beat a TVC team by 20. I'm not taking anything away from the kids or anything but there are so many matchups in basketball that make it difficult to make that statement. Just because Lemoyne college beat Syracuse doesn't mean every team that Syracuse beat in the Big East would lose to Lemoyne .

SG getting the 4 seed was a load of crap, that team should of been higher then that but SG never has got the seed they deserved when they were a good team. That game could of been different too because I know I stole the ball 3 times at the end of the game and missed all three lay ups and that would of cut the lead to under 5 witch anything can happen.

The Oak Hill that SG Played had 4 of the same starter from the State champ team so it was pretty much the same team. Fed Hock has never played a team as good as the state champ South Webster team. Wahama was 7-0 when we beat them, Eastern had a good team they were the 2nd seed in the tournment with one of the best players on the team to go through Eastern, Nathan Cozart. Also beat one of the best Trimble team in awhile when they had Matt Chrisman and they were the number 1 seed that year. SG has had success aganist TVC schools in the last 5 years or so. SO they should be just fine.

It is just funny when people get on here and try to cloud facts with little tid bits of truth when talking about how great their team is. The fact is when South Webster won the state championship they beat South Gallia by 49 points. But you are using a score from a different year and trying to say you only lost to the state champs by 14. Same thing with the Oak Hill reference. Saying you played a state championship team, when in reality you played them 3 or 4 years prior to the team that won the state.

Ok so do you realize who south webster lost to that year, by how much, who won the state championship that year and then what happened to that team after they were crowned state champs? Well I will tell you the punch line to the post right now, they lost to the state champs columbus africentric witch after were crowned state champs got stripped of the title because of player or players that were not able to play according to OSHAA. Oh and im pretty sure that south webster lost to the champs on a last second shot too

Yes I am aware of all that. I am also aware that now, not only are you bragging about who you lost to, but also who the team that beat you lost to. So I guess we can say that your team could have came within 15 points of a team that cheated to win a state championship? The punch line here is there are a lot of teams that can say they lost to Africentric that year. Too bad their AD wasn't thorough enough to complete the necessary transfer documents or they would still own that state title. Then just think, every team they beat would have teams who lost to them saying, yea but we got beat by the team that lost to the state champs! So we must have been good.

SG has played good in shootouts so far this year, getting wins over River Valley and Gallipolis. They lost to Jackson in a close one. So hope this is a good sign for the Rebels.
