Re: PVC Schedules, Results, and Standings 2010-11
Since I have watched every team in the league I will give some thought. The league is down but the league is pretty even any team can beat any team on any given night.Difference is coaching most of the time. This is how I would rank them by the eye test. 1.Fort Frye -They have many players that can knock down the 3.Key Players- Garrett Legrean athletic kid that can rebound and score around the hoop.Zach Eddy Jr this kid could work on his defense but he is the teams best shooter. Shon Smith this is the teams most important player. He is the glue and gets everyone going.Eddie Watson showed with his scoring he will be back on top. Most talented team in the league.Chandler Lang would start for every other team in this league and he does not see the floor FF.Also the Cadets have the best coach. 2.River- I know they lost a couple but they have 4 scorers In Wax,Ramiser,Potts, and Brown. 3.Monroe Central- They are big but they lack pure shooting ability.KP- Jimmy Baker and Shane Highman. 4.Buckeye Trail- Zach Roe keeps up they will only get better.Ethan Watson is a double double machine and Beaver can shoot. 5.Frontier-Got Cobb and Tilton back from suspension. They just beat Bridgeport.Fickiesen is one of leagues top players.Burnoni needs to get agressive.6.Shenandoah-Brett Farnsworth is a stud.Just needs to have more weapons.7.Caldwell-They are getting better. They just are not the same team every night.

Went and watched Shenandoah play against Cambridge. IMO, they looked bad. Like you said, Farnsworth is pretty good, but other than that it didn't seem like they had much. Most of their offense was either Farnsworth doing it all, or the other players just jacking up 3's all night long. No post presence, at least not in that game, and the shooters were streaky at best. Turned the ball over probably the first 4 or 5 possessions, and only had 2 points at the end of the first quarter.

Also, Hurst doesn't get nearly enough playing time, IMO.

I think this how group is close.I could easily see players on 2nd 3rd and 4th teams having a good 2nd half and getting moved up.

Congrats to 'Doah boys.
Several of them play Legion Baseball with the B-L team.
They'll win several more before seasons end.

River back to flowing. Held Roe scoreless, forced Trail into 20 turnovers. The final margin could have been larger, Coach R had the Pilots working on running clock in the 4th qtr. Boy, did the Trail JV's look awful. only scored 19 pts., with 8-9 of those coming in the 4th qtr. vs. mostly River frosh.

Tucker Brown is a beast, according to my sources. River could actually make OVAC playoffs for first time. Gotta beat Shadyside.

Kap is "the big easy" according to my sources.
Shadyside @ River 2-nite, 5:00pm jv start. Hope the Pilots take care of business, then the Buckeyes; both on the field and on the hardwood.
