This just shows how bad the Athens Section is and the Waverly Section isn't much better. They should go back to the old sectional and combine the Jackson and Athens sectionals. It woul stop this boring 20 and 30 point blow outs in the Convo.

A very workman like performance from the Indians last night. Valley started very slow but the two sophomores really were the difference in the second quarter. Hayden Dunn punished Nelsonville on the blocks and Jordan West made several key defensive plays that got the Indians rolling before halftime.

Valley's length was a big reason for the win. I thought once we started feeding the ball to the post the game was over. To finish with just 7 turnovers is outstanding.

Congratulations to the NY Buckeyes on a fine season. The sectional title was the Buckeyes ninth in school history and second in three years. It’s the first time a group of seniors at Nelsonville-York played twice in the district tournament in a three-year span since the 1977 and 1978 squads won back-to-back sectionals.

Wow, my post from last night concerning NY's seeding was deleted. I didn't realize that threads were being "sanitized for your protection" on here. My comments were truly innocuous. Wish they'd take care of the spyware and malware on here that keep firing off my protection software instead of worrying about me making an honest comment about the absurd seeding of NY. Geesh.

Bring back the old sectionals...pitiful. NY wouldn't be a top 5 team in the SOC II.

Does anyone know how many blocks there were in this game? It seemed as though there were a ton. The big boy from NY seemed to have quite a few as well as a few of Valley's players.

I think Valleys worrying about 30 point blowouts ends Sat lol
They now get into the round of Basketball teams. The TVC was weak this year Nelsonville happened to be the best of average to bad Div 3 teams.
Don' t be arrogant be glad your still playing! Fun ends Sat
Portsmouth 65
Valley 45
