Looks like Hiland is the favorite to come out of the Div. IV district again.

Don't have final scores, but I heard Trail fell to Shenandoah and Caldwell beat Barnesville in OT tonight.

Re: Pioneer Valley Conf Standings/Scores
Can't believe Shenandoah beat Trail at Trail. Caldwell trailed by 18 in the third to Barnesville last night, they didn't play at all for three quarters then they turned it up and won it in overtime. Freshman hit a pair of free throws with three seconds to go to send it to overtime. Harding didn't shoot very well but he made a big one in crunch time and really played well defensively in the fourth quarter which helped a lot. Barnesville played all kinds of crazy defenses and seemed to confuse our guys. We missed a bunch of wide open looks. Guess it is a win though.
Re: Pioneer Valley Conf Standings/Scores
Trail was down 15-0 to start the game. Closest they came was 28-25 toward the end of 2nd quarter. Two week layoff was not kind to them. And too much individual play and selfishness by a few. Taking 30ft shots and trying to beat 1 on 3 all night cost them. Some players got caught up with the Zep crowd more than trying to play team ball and win the game. Trail will have a tough time winning any of the next 3 games. Away @ Cambridge, away @ Fort Frye, and home w/ Monroe Central - although they lost by 10 to Meadowbrook tonight and only put up 58 points.

MC did not play well at all, terrible from the free throw line and pretty much just a bad night that teams sometimes have.
Hope to not have any more outings like this.

I talked to a guy from Barnesville and he said the little guard(Harding I assume) couldn't make a shot, but they had a lefthander that played real well, along with Weichman.I have no clue who that kid is but he couldn't have played against us the first time.

The left hander is most likely Tanner Clark. He's a freshman.PVC MAN wrote:I talked to a guy from Barnesville and he said the little guard(Harding I assume) couldn't make a shot, but they had a lefthander that played real well, along with Weichman.I have no clue who that kid is but he couldn't have played against us the first time.
