Wow guys thats really what we need to hear right now! No Coach, and I mean none, can change the attitude of the kids, they have to want to win. This one is on the players...... At least some of them.....

I disagree IndianFan. The coach can control it! He can set the kids down who do not play the way he wants them too. A little pine time can work miracles. If the kids that you say are not playing team ball are staying on the floor then I say they must be doing what the coach wants them to do or else he would be sitting them. If he is not doing that then he is either okay with what they are doing or he is not doing his job and it is on the coach then.

I agree with you partly Pavillion. I am just frustrated with these players, and your right he has to be the one to make the move. I hope he does. They are all soph, but we have played 3/4 of a season now. Some Senior Leadership is what they need. Hopefullly its all part of the maturation process, and maybe thats what coach is thinking. I am not ready to give up on the coaching staff. The one thing that we have not had out here for a while is a stable program. It is definately time for Larry Legend to step up. Again, I was just frustrated after our play on Tuesday. Love this team, and love my Indians. Indian Pride!!

Western wins at New Boston 64-42 last night. The boys played well despite missing a ton of free throws. Buckley from New Boston did everything he could do to keep this game tight. Very tough player for his size. The boys played good team ball last night feeding Garrett who ended up with a new career high (40). He was on fire in the second half after going 0 for 7 in the first half. Notre Dame up next. Would like to see this team be competitive in this game like they were vs Eastern a couple weeks ago. Dont want to say that the boys have turned the corner, but looks like they got the message from the Coaching staff that their would be no success until they became team players. Jordan called the team out on the mat in the Local paper by saying that they looked like their JR High days again, where whom ever had the ball took it to the rack. I hope they keep that thought close. We need to win a few more games to get a half way decent seed for the tournament. Keep working Indians.

Best game I have seen from a Western team in 4 years! Great defense on Symmes Valley tonight after getting beat at their place by 30. Total team effort! I believe the boys have grown up a little, and finally decided to play team ball. Shanks was great from the point position tonight with another close triple double. He was penetrating and finding the open man. Fite was the man benefitting from the great passes with 16 points. If this is a sign to come this team is going to be exciting the next couple of years. Very, very proud of the effort tonight. This team took a big step tonight.
