Also have to consider at that in 2012 they did only play 20 regular season games, not 22. Can't remember when exactly they switched to 22, but it was shortly after that season. Not sure how many regular season games were played in the 90s, 80s, or 70sKicker. wrote: Wed Feb 26, 2020 10:30 amI checked on maxpreps and it has some games with multiple scores for some games so I may have added one too manySeneca wrote: Wed Feb 26, 2020 9:08 amI thought they ended up with 19 but you may be correct. 1992 18-5
1989 19-3
1980 I think 12 regular season wins and 6 tournament wins?
1975 upset in sectional
1974 District champs w/ John Shoemaker
However that is an astonishing stat that you’ve gotta go that far back to find a 20 win season

Back in the day, 18 regular season games was the limit unless you were a non football school which could schedule 20. Portsmouth for some reason going back to their GOL days played 16.MasterOfNone wrote: Wed Feb 26, 2020 1:05 pmAlso have to consider at that in 2012 they did only play 20 regular season games, not 22. As to this district semi final game, good luck to both teams

With this being the first game of the night at the convo, hoping there is a decently big crowd. About a 45min drive for Warren and an hour and 15 min for Waverly. I expect there to be a pretty large crowd for Waverly, as they have had a good following all year.

... the BBB travel as well as any team in SEOhio ... 2 excellent teams, 2 excellent coaches ... THE tip off game for the 3 Weeks of the Convo - it doesn't get any better than this ... the Cheap Seats will be open for "bidness" Saturday evening - doors will open 1 hour prior to tip-off ! ...MasterOfNone wrote: Fri Feb 28, 2020 1:49 pm With this being the first game of the night at the convo, hoping there is a decently big crowd. I'd say both teams will bring a big crowd. Do the doors open at 5:00? Looks like my question was just answered.MasterOfNone wrote: Fri Feb 28, 2020 1:49 pm With this being the first game of the night at the convo, hoping there is a decently big crowd. Someone thought maybe 5:45 but I guess 15 minutes won’t matter too much.

Great write up on Trey and Travis. For anyone that has been around the Tiger program since Travis took over, you’ve gotten to watch his two boys grow up and Mark Stulley as well. So seeing them where they are now and having so much success is awesome as a Tiger fan.
