In the last timeout Waverly set the play for the tying trey, but Warren set the defense and guessed right on the play and was right there for the right corner to left corner pass and easily intercepted it to clinch the win.

Warren continued to have tremendous trouble scoring inside in the 2nd half. Perseverance paid off though when Sallee scored a putback basket at the end to take control when they beat the press for a lay up that was spectacularly blocked, but it bounced right to Sallee who scored the last points of the game with 20 to 35 sec left.
