No coach from Jackson makes any sense whatsoever for this job....unless our 7th grade coach with 1 year experience wants a HC jobGOROCKETS wrote: ↑Wed Mar 18, 2020 3:36 pmCoach Sturgill and a coach from Jackson is the information that I was told.bballfever wrote: ↑Wed Mar 18, 2020 3:29 pmWell you didn’t even say what you heard just put out your narrative on something?

While the coach you speak of may be a great coach, it doesn't take much to win 1 tournament game to get to the Convo. It's a fantastic place to play, but winning a one game sectional isn't much of an accomplishment.

And if he’s that great why is he leaving his current team or not coaching?

Re: Coaching Vacancies 2020-2021
Only one I can think of is the WCH coach who basically had to resign at the beginning of last season after being put on administrative leave from not only basketball but also teaching. He was pretty young and they beat Chillicothe once last year.
Re: Coaching Vacancies 2020-2021
First off let me say that I have no idea who Wellston may or might be considering as there next head basketball coach. If it would happen to be the coach that you just mentioned, the ex WCH head coach, I think that Wellston would be very fortunate to be able to get a coach as good as C.S. Also don't know that much about the kids from Wellston, but I do think that they have an Ervin kid who will be a Sophomore, who would be a good building block to build a team around.bballfever wrote: ↑Sat Mar 21, 2020 3:34 pm Only one I can think of is the WCH coach who basically had to resign at the beginning of last season after being put on administrative leave from not only basketball but also teaching. So anybody hear for sure the ex Washington court house coach put in for the wellston job?
Re: Coaching Vacancies 2020-2021
I've heard a lot of people saying hes a really good up and coming coach. Be nice to get someone good in here at a young age like he is and start to truly build something here and keep it going for a long time. I think I seen they wch won like 3 or 5 games the year before he was there and then he won 15(I believe) and then the next year he wasn't there and they won zero games. That's a big difference.

Court house also added a transfer and had a 6’6 post play that didn’t the year before. But something had to have happened to be gone after 1 season.
