Unioto won. I believe the final score was 66-48

Every Unioto player in the scoring column but one. Led by Little with 29 and Carson Debord with 12 on 4-4 shooting from 3.

VC had 2 in double figure. One with 19 and one with 11.
Wow, it hasn't taken the Little kid very much time to transition from football to basketball. Wonder where he gets all his talent ? Lol
I was the best basketball player to graduate from Piketon that you’ve never heard of.
I can hear Phil Howard belly laughing

Well, he’d agree. He told me daily that I was the biggest waste of talent he’s ever coached.

I took you at your word earlier during football season, I assume that I'll be able to do likewise for basketball.

If I have any doubt at all from here on out, I may just double check with Ironman92, he may know you even better than Phil Howard ?

All joking aside, I know your son was the QB, what position does he play and how tall is he ?

I get what you're saying, I never knew whether or not to take him seriously or not, but then he came clean with me, I think.

I hate that I have a reputation for not being serious. How can I fix that?

No clue how good they can be. But, if Nesser is out for a long time, then I could see either Unioto or, more likely, Adena being able to get them once.

Don’t underestimate how special Cam Evans is though.

I really like our Unioto team this year. You’re gonna see a lot of the same kids but all much improved. Played a lot of sophomores last year. I think we’re gonna win quite a few games this year and the games we lose I think will be close and competitive. The question is do we have what it takes to beat Adena or ZT and get over that hump? Im not sure. Adena may actually be better than last year even after losing a big piece. The progression I’m hearing about Garrison and the addition of Mckee they’re gonna be a big problem for anyone, even ZT. Even if Nesser isn’t 100% they’re still the favorite. The Swain kid is completely capable of picking up the slack till Nesser is 100%. He doesn’t get much love but he’d be the best player on a lot of teams in this league and he just keeps his head down and works. Probably the best defender in our league.

I’ll stick to my original prediction with us finishing in the top 3 if we stay healthy. I still think there is a clear distinction between those top 3 and rest of the league.

The league title is a two team race between Zane Trace and Adena. Looking forward to checking out a couple teams this weekend. Best of luck to all and hoping for an injury free season.
