I was beside Mr Roberts when he was notified that Eastern couldn’t play tonight. Parking lot wasn’t clear.

He offered to switch dates for hosting but that was turned down as well.

It doesn't surprise me that a healthy West team beat South Webster, but the 15 point margin does surprise me a bit. Thought it would be tight either way. Good win for West.

West is a good team and has some good wins. Conference is tough. All teams will end up with some losses. If they finished the games against Eastern, Oak Hill, and Symmes Valley they would be 8-2 right now and top 12 in the area

South Webster shot 38% from the field
16% from three think they said 2 for 18
And I believe it was 12-23 from the free throw line.
You could the visible frustration in our guys at the line and west is always a hostile place to play anyway.

Tough loss but West went off from three in the first half (7)
Stretched to a 20 point lead at one point. Jeeps cut it down to 7.
SW always struggles against the big football kids too.
I say the Jeeps will get them at home on the friendly nets when the three balls go down

What has happened to the Burg? They used to be the best program year after year.

They have been very blessed with talent lately. Holden will go down as one of the best players to ever come out of SEO. Coleman before him was an absolute stud. Then last years senior class consisted of Miller/Truitt/McCorkle who were all fantastic basketball players.

This is the first time since Barrick's last few years that Wheelersburg hasn't had the most talent or at least top 3 talent in the league.

Graduating Swords this year and rumors of impending transfers and a so-so JV makes it sound like the next 2-3 years will be just as bad in Wheelersburg land until the 8th grade class is ready for varsity.

Yes it did. They were probably in the 4-6 range with him.... now they're in the 7-8 range without him.
