Drove by St. Joe on my way to work tonight and there was no white smoke coming from the chimney-guess we'll have to wait a while longer to find out who the new coach will be. I'm sure it didn't take this long to name the new Pope the last time one was selected.

When Ironton finally hired Mark Lutz...I mean Mark Vass...I mean Merrill Triplett it was a fast easy process huh? ;-)

But St Joe is not Ironton High so why would you want to have everyone thinking St Joe looks just as bad as they did on trying to hire a coach?

My understanding from hear say is it is narrowed down to 3 people so why is it so hard to pick? I was told there was suppose to be a decision early last week?

This goes back to the kids--how do you think they feel waiting to find out who is going to be there coach? They are anxiuos so try not to drag this out for their sake.

Good luck and I hope you really aren't trying to act or look like Ironton. St Joe has a little more class than that I thought.

Not sure everyone thinks St. Joe is looking bad. Whether a decision process is good or bad is not necessarily based on how long it takes - the result of the decision is a better indicator.

As for the kids, their current academic and athletic pursuits should be plenty for them to think about. First day of b-ball coaching is still over a month away per OHSAA calendar.
