I was told Symmes Valley won by about 10 pts. I don't have the exact score.

Ironton St.Joseph Flyers 74

After 1 quarter, Tigers 20 Flyers 19
At the half, tied 41-41
After 3, Tigers 68 Flyers 54
And the Final, Tigers 85 Flyers 74

Ironton St.Joseph jumped out to an early lead at 9-2 before the Tigers rallied to take the lead at the end of one. The second quarter was close with the Flyers leading late before New Boston rallied again to tie at the half. The Tigers came out firing after the half and outscored St.Joseph 27-13 to take the lead after three. The final 85-74.

Great effort by the Flyers! Good Luck the rest of the season!

Congrats Tigers! New Boston, which goes to 3-0 overall (1-0 league) next hosts the Sciotoville East Tartans on Friday, 12/7.

Sciotoville East Tartans 72
New Boston Glenwood Tigers 70 in OT

Congrats Tartans! Great effort by the Tigers in a hard fought game.

New Boston led after 1 at 13-9, tied at the half 32-32, Tigers held the lead 54-51 after 3 and tied 62-62 at the end of regulation. East held the lead on a couple of occasions by about 6 points.

JV Tartans 56 Tigers 35
Tyler Messer led the Tartans with 26 points.

New Boston drops to 3-1 overall and 1-1 in league play. The Tigers host the Portsmouth West Senators on Tuesday in a non league game and travel to Portsmouth Clay on Friday to take on the Panthers.

That is correct. They host West tomorrow and then hit the road Friday at Clay and Tuesday at Green. 8 out of the last 11 games are away.

West defeats Tigers

Portsmouth West Senators 78
New Boston Glenwood Tigers 68

West led after 1 at 19-17
At the half, tied 36-36
After 3, Senators 55-49
Final 78-68

The Tigers pulled within 3 pts near the end of the final quarter after the Senators Jordan picked up his 5th personal foul with 2:31 to go. That was as close as the Tigers got at 71-68 and West went on to win 78-68.

New Boston Glenwood Tigers 66
Franklin Furnace Green Bobcats 47

Green, which lead after one quarter at 22-19, failed to score in the second quarter while the Tigers scored 8 pts. and the half score was 27-22 Tigers. After 3, it was NB 41-31. Green got within four points early in the final quarter at 41-37 and the Tigers ended the game strong with the 66-47 score. Good job Tigers!

New Boston, now 5-2 overall and 3-1 league is off until 1/4, when they host the Beaver Eastern Eagles.

JV Bobcats over Tigers 48-35.

New Boston 71 Eastern 61

New Boston Glenwood Tigers 71
Beaver Eastern Eagles 61

New Boston improves to 6-2 overall and 4-1 in league play with the victory over the Eagles tonight. The first quarter was back and forth with the Tigers scoring as time expired to lead 16-15 after one. New Boston pulled away somewhat to lead 39-31 at the half. After 3, it was Tigers 56-45. Eastern outscored the Tigers in the final frame 16-15, but it was not enough as New Boston wins 71-61.

New Boston next hosts the Notre Dame Titans on Tuesday and travels up to Latham to meet the Western Indians on Friday, 1/11

The Tiger JV also won 40-32. Tigers lead after 1, at 10-8; at the half it was Eagles 16-15. After 3, Eastern lead 25-21 with the regulation ending 31-31. New Boston won in overtime by the final of 40-32. The Tiger JV goes to 4-4 overall and 2-3 in league.

Long way to go...solid wins over Symmes and ISJ...though surprised your recent games weren't bigger margins....but W's nonetheless

Portsmouth Notre Dame Titans 57

The Tigers and Titans battled through 3 quarters before the Tigers pulled away with 25 points in the final quarter to pull out the win.

After 1, 11-10
At the half, 30-30
After 3, Tigers 47-44
Final 72-57

New Boston holds on to at least a tie for the conference lead, pending the outcome of Western/East and Green/Symmes Valley games. The Tigers are 7-2 and 5-1 in league play. New Boston travels to Latham on Friday to take on the Western Indians.

JV Tigers won 46-21, improving to 5-4 overall and 3-3 in league.

Congratulations Tigers! Great effort by the Titans in the loss.

... next 4 games on the road for the Tigers ... 8 out of the next 11 are road games ... this will tell us what the Tigers are made of ... good luck to the Glenwood boyz ...

Western wins

Latham Western Pike Indians 70
New Boston Glenwood Tigers 56

The first quarter had 5 lead changes with Western holding a 13-12 margin after 1.
In the second, with the score 15-15, the Indians went on a 14-0 run to end the half at 29-15. That margin ended up being the difference in the game.
After 3, it was Indians 43-31.
At the 3:12 mark of the final quarter, the Tigers got within 9 at 55-46 and that was as close as it got. The final 70-56.

Congrats to the Indians on the victory!

New Boston hits the road three times next week: Tuesday at Symmes Valley, Friday at Sciotoville East and Saturday at Manchester. The Tigers record drops to 7-3 overall and 5-2 in league play, now tied with Western and East for second. Symmes Valley is in first with one loss.

Tiger JV's win 48-44. The Indians led after 1 at 9-1, and at the half 15-8.
After New Boston caught up in the third quarter at 18-18, they increased their lead to 32-23 after 3. Good Job Tigers! The record stands at 6-4 overall and 4-3 in league play.
