OK, anyone know how this W.Va team is doing? Southern's coming off a great hard-fought win with Eastern
THE FROG guys seem to think it'll be good.
Predictions?

I like what I have seen in the Tornadoes so far. They come to play and they are well coached

Is Wahama that good or did Southern have jet lag from the game at Eastern last night

It is always tough to win over at Wahama.

Looks like Wahama's basketball program is on the up-swing. They have really been doing great the past couple of years. I hear the new coaches have taken Wahama basketball in a new direction. Congrats!

Not to take away from Wahama's win, but Southern got opportunities and shots off, just didn't drop in. I don't remember how many actually in the rim, and came back out.
Just wasn't there night.
But, the Tornadoe reserves did very well, wining by nearly 30 points.

I read the paper's write-up, didn't know Wahama was undefeated. There were times that Southern drew very close..... but not close enough.

It was just the opposite the night before at Eastern. It seemed that Southern couldn't miss.

Ohio teams say it's hard to win in WV, WV teams say it's hard to win in Ohio, it goes both ways...
congrats to Coach Toth and Coach Wolfe on another win.

Wahama is probably the toughest place in the area to play. The floor is not that great and the lighting is pretty bad unless they have made imrovements in the last couple of years. My mom went to school there in the 40's.

I noticed they've painted the inside, everything else looked the same. I think the Ohio vs. W.Va is some officiating. I saw things NOT called that should've been and visa versa, and must admit it was consistent, wrong or otherwise.

The baskets/backboards look pretty dated also.

You have to be 10 points better to win at Wahama

.....just like i've always heard you have to be 10 points better to win at Meigs, South Gallia, etc...
You guys say one thing about West Virginia officiating, people over here say the exact same thing about the officiating in Ohio, it's somewhere in the middle more than likely.
