Wasn't there a pretty good player there in the 90's?? I think his name was Joey James? It's been a while mind not what it used to be :lol:

I believe you can add Chris Ellcessor-I believe he was league MVP in 1936!!!!

LOL I igure you would like that one whodey....

I believe Elcessor played on the same team as John Milhoan...didn't he?

seopsfan, it was prolly Chad Barnes. He was a good athlete at everything. He was league MVP 2 times in football.

The Legend, John milhoan is in a class all by himself, Jimmy Noe, Gil Price, big John Armstrong could score at will, Jamie Lane was dominant, Chris Elcessor, and Gary Harrison are up there at the top.

how about jimmy niday? jottings would you agree that tommy spencer was probably the best athlete period from gallipolis? my guess is you could make best by decade and still be right.

From recent years Donnie Johnson was a lot of fun to watch on the basketball court. He was one of the best all around athletes to come out of Gallia Academy.
