Is Hitchens running the point this year?...if so there is no arguement.
Ondera from Oak Hill is awfully good.
I've not seen a lot of great PG's this year.

Kellough and Hitchens are head and shoulders above everyone I've seen.

... better add
Cedric Harris at the 'ville to join Josh Kellough(Huntington)/Humpty Hitchens(Chillicothe) ... look for
Jake Lynch down at Reedsville to get some recognition by years end and beyond as well - not in the class of these 3 but give him a year or so imo ...

Jake Lynch will be a good one to list. Only a sophomore, will be a one of the best around next few years.

Ironman-yes Hitchens is running the point. the only difference is now when we get a comfortable lead we sometimes move him off the ball. really i think its dumb b/c when we do that we take away everybody's best chance at an open shot which is his penetration and the help it demands from the D and the kick outs or drop offs that ensue.
1. Hitchens
2. Kellough/Harris
3. doesn't matter b/c the first 3 are that much better than the rest.

Cedric is way improved over last year, when he was pretty darn good in the first place. My hat's off to the kid, who's really put in a TON of work since last season to improve himself. I really, really shows. And Wheeling Jesuit got a STEAL.
Dshanton ... Only thing I would say about sliding Hitchens over when the game is not on the line is this: there may be a time when it is necessary to do so, especially if Chillicothe can find a viable person to handle the ball at the 1. Hitchens, as a 2, could really create some mismatches with his quickness and strength. It looks like Coach K is doing this as more of a look toward the future than anything else.

There is no one even close. Anthony Hitchens is by far the BEST point guard SE Ohio has seen in 15 years or so. The only two that even come close to him is Patrick Tubbs (88 Portsmouth) or Brigam Wagonger( S Webster-Ironton) I am talking a True Blue Point Guard.People get REAL this is no contest.

Z-Ville Blue Devils- I agree Harris is good. But come on he is not Humpty. Plus I don't consider Z-Ville a southeast ohio team. They rep: more of a pure team from the East

The best I have seen would have to Hitchens. I have not seen Harris play as of yet. Is Hitchens still going to Ball State next year?

I think Matt Jenkins does a good job for the Pirates. He may not be flashy but he gets the job done.

Tyler Duncan from south Gallia is a top ten point guard. His ability to handle pressure and pass are really developing to full potential, meanwhile, he has always been able to score. He needs a little help from his teammates to be a top five point guard.
