WHITE OUT AT VINTON COUNTY!

The Vinton County Athletic Booster's will be sponsoring a WHITE OUT for two upcoming basketball games.
January 24th girls vs. Meigs
January 25th boys vs. Belpre
Come join the VC Athletic Boosters and your Viking Basketball teams for a WHITE OUT!!
Show your spirit by wearing a WHITE shirt and bring your WHITE spirit towel to the games! This will be a great way to support our teams and show them how proud we are of their accomplishments!!
Spirit towels can be purchased at the concession stand at any home game or by contacting any Booster officer. The spirit towels are $5 each. All proceeds go to the VC Athletic Boosters to benefit all VC athletes.
Come out and be a part of this fun event, enjoy a great game of basketball and show our teams how proud we are of them!!
This January 25th boys game will also be the Hall of Fame night.

I heard that Andy Booth will be one of new Hall of Fame members. Not sure who the other ones will be. Hawkeye???

I've heard Dennis Gregory and long-time Athletic secretary Alice Taylor will be in addition to Andy Booth.

I heard someone else too, along with Alice (very deserving), & Andy (deserving) I heard of an early '70s QB a S.O.D. (son of a doctor).
Jason C. should be inducted, should've been an early inductee!
Well as Hawkeye would type, "That's another can of worms opened!"

It looks like quite a few schools are joining the WHITE OUT wagon! I hope this works out as a big spirit booster for all schools!
Vinton Countians...I challenge you to make Jan. 24th and Jan. 25th the BIGGEST WHITE OUT's ever seen!! Let's get behind our Vikes and show them how proud we are of them!!!

If I could find a pair of white jeans, I'd wear them, but I think I threw mine out sometime in the late 80's

The inductees this year is Alice Taylor, Athletic Secretary for the past 30 plus years.
Mark Bullock, a 1971 graduate, 2 time All-TVC, All-District. Still owns several VC Football passing records, including yards in a season, 1174, yards in a career, 2658, passing TD's in a season 13 and a career 31.
Andy Booth, a 1994 graduate, a three sport athlete (Football, Basketball and Track) that holds 12 Varsity letters, one for each sport and for each of year of high school. Was the QB for the first playoff team of VC history, in which he was awarded several honors including, 1st team All-Ohio, Southeast District Defensive POY. Several All-TVC honors, holds the VC's boys' basketball assists record for a season and a career, 106 and 287 respectfully. Holds the record for most basketball games played along with fellow HOF Ryan Caudill at 86.

Very good info Hawkeye. Andy also played baseball for at least his junior year as well.
