If Dickerson has a night like he did Friday along with Tyler Mault scoring and the Collins twins getting around 10 each they should be alright.

It seems a lot of Western's games are close, but some how they've come out on top in most of them. That experience of playing under pressure should come in handy if it is close. I'll take Western 52 - 46.

East has played in close games also. Coach Bradford will have the Tartans ready for tomarrow night when Western travels to Sciotoville.

you are exactly right and i think i can explain why this phenomona happens to western... i was at the green game on the 4th and saw this. at the end of the fourth quarter there coach puts all the jv starters in! i thought that he was actually gonna let them get beat. i see allowing other players to get playing time, but geesh, 5 or 6 points is a little too close for comfort, from my perspective anyway. my guess is western 66- 54

I agree with cinderellapick I also was at the game and for the life of me I can not understand Western's coach putting in jv players. I thought for sure they were going to blow it. I have seen this coach do some other bizarre things. I also believe that he cost Western the Symmes Valley game. I am going for Western with the win!!!

I would like to clarify that my previous post was not meant to imply criticism to the coaching staff. I am not that familiar with the coaching strategies that might be taking place. But I know Western has had several buzzer beaters and overtimes this year. In fact, I believe the Eastern game was a double overtime win. And, with the exception of Huntington (which I hear is very tough this year), Western's losses have been very close (Symmes Valley and Piketon).

Side note: Has East played New Boston? Interested in knowing what that match-up looks like.

Thanks Tartan. Sounds like it was a good match-up. I am hoping tonights match-up is equally exciting. Western has East tonight, New Boston Friday, and Manchester Saturday. The Indians face a tough, and crucial, week.

i didnt mean for you to take what i said the wrong way commontator. those were just frustrated words from a very frustrated fan. and i, for one fan, wouldnt mind if ya did say something about our coach. i dont think he could coach himself out of a paper bag! but thats just one fan talkin' ;-)

Congrats to the Tartans. A well played game. And I must say pretty good prediction Nevada. I hope Western comes out with more fire against New Boston.
