Athens 9th grade boy's defeat Alexander 51-33

Athens used full court pressure to overcome the huge heigth advantage the Spartans had over the Bulldogs to win on Thursday night. Dean Maffin led all scorers with 15 points, Johnny Young and Ian Dixon had 9, Ian Frampton had 8, and Trey Harris and Joey Germano had 6 for the Bulldogs. Alex Miller led Alexander with 11 points, followed by Jack Hart with 8, Josh McGregor and Ben Doughty 6, and Josiah Yazdani 2. Athens is now 3-6 for the season and Alexander is 3-4.
