Warren Harding 60 Zanesville 58

Post by Bobcat Thunder »

Saw this on the "other" site

Down 10, 56-46 with 3 minutes to go, Zanesville battled back.

Harding has a put back with 2 seconds to go to win

Tough maybe playing back to back nights?

Zanesville now 11-1

Too bad the Blue Devils had to come out on the wrong end of this one.

Close games like this(against really good opponents) will only help them come tourney time.

What was W.H'S record coming into this one?

I was hoping to read that Z-Ville won.

WGH came in 9-0. That shot hits the rim and it would have been overtime.

Warren Harding came into the game as the 4th ranked team in the state. Line-up was something like 2 guys 6'8" and 2 guys 6'4" and PG was 6'2", with all 5 possible D-1 college recruits. No 3 was IMO the best player on the court the 1st 2 games. Proud of the Blue Devils, they proved today they can play with anyone in the state! Andre Harris picking up 3 foul in the 2ed qter was a key factor in the game. Overall a very high caliber high school game!

Must have been a good game. Surprised ZHS stayed with Harding. Raiders had them down 10 pts with 3 minutes to go. WGH is going to win alot of games this year.

Palding, thie was a great game. Zanes had Harding down by 7 points and lead most of the 1st half until Andre Harris picked up 3ed foul in the 2 quarter. Was the changing point in the game. Harding lost the 10 point lead by trying to run up and down the court with Zanes. Two teams pretty evenly match with the edge going to Harding with more Dept!

If not for #3 on WH, the would not be undefeated. They couldn't do much when he got 4 fouls and sat out for a few minutes.

Gotta be proud of the devils. They kept their heads and quickly tied the game. The refs were #A#A!. Some rediculous calls.

Bit, I hate to disagree but they expanded a narrow lead into double digits when Jackson was out. Jackson is definitely the glue that makes this team work but they picked it up without him.

Zanesville is an extremely talented ballclub. I said more in the rankings thread but the Chilli-Zville game is simply going to be outstanding.

told people that Z-ville would be right in this game and/or win it, and if not for a bit of WGH luck there at the end on the airball, they may just have. I love Andre Harris's game and think it really hurt Z-ville with him in constant foul trouble. he was the one having the most sucess breaking down their D IMO.

and thats just how it is...Dshanton3

Great game but I didn't like that Logan A. did not play hard... Played foul line to foul line and did not hussle. I love the play of the 6-5 post player he may not be as "gifted" as Logan but he played alot harder... I agree if the last shot would have at least hit the rim it would have been OT...

The difference, caglewis, was we were trying to win, not stay close.
