With seven games remaining in regular season Guthrie has around 940 points. Next game is being played at home against Nelsonville York. In the first game against the Buckeyes, Guthrie had 20 points in the first half. The following Friday the Vikes play Belpre at home and then Philo away.

i think ill have to make a trip to a home game.
It would be a lot better if he got it at home, rather than at belpre

He'll join Jason Caudill (did he make it), the other from the late 90's Caudill?......others?

And he does it while remaining incredibly unselfish and within the team concept. Best of luck to Dustin.

Maybe Hawkeye can enlighten us about the 1000 pt club at VC. But I'm pretty sure that Ryan Caudill holds the record with around 1500 career pts.
Good Luck to Dustin, go get 'em!!

Somebody asked me at Wellston, if Chris got 1,000 points. I couldn't remember for sure. I thought I remembered Matt preparing a basketball for him, but its not in the trophy case.
So thanks CJ, you answered that question?

Thanks Vikefan.
I think at one time it was in the main office behind Alice's desk.
It could be in the trophy case now, and I just didn't see it. My vision isn't what it used to be.

I think it may still be in the main trophy case but you are also correct that it was in Alice's office for a time as well.

You are right, Coach Skinner, Dut has always been a class act who put the team first. He is a great person on and off the court. Fortunately for the Vikings his teammates are the same way. That is a big reason for the Vikings success as of late. It's a lot easier to win with "good" kids.

He had only play for 3 seasons. His senior season he broke his leg before Week Three. That leg injury kept him out of basketball.
