 you're not kidding...
Well from Belpre you have to consider..
Pat Klein
Aaron Hall (big man on the state runner up team)
Jim Simpson and Chris Hopkins were both very good big men
Brandon Burnfield, IMO the most exciting/entertaining player to play at Belpre since I moved there(1990)
..along with many many others.

No doubt about it.

For instance, Nathan Cozart and Cody Dill were on a team together and did not win the TVC Hocking Division. Not even a share. Surely, two of the top players of all time from the Hocking Division schools, together on one team, would win a championship.

A FH team that started Hornsby, Barnhart, Garrett, Rupe, and Butcher won the TVC outright that season.

I am not meaning to be insulting, because I would have no clue who should be starting for the all-time TVC Hocking team. I would just assume that since FH has won lots of titles, that one player would make the starting five.

Was Brandon Burnfield still in school in the spring of 99? If so, I remember he almost beat out a hard hit groundball to the 2nd baseman (me) that I nonchalantly threw to 1st when I was a frosh. It seems like Burnfield was that last name. Our senior centerfielder yelled to me, "Hey kiddo, you might want to put a little urgency into the play next time. He can run just a bit."

Yes I believe so...I'm wanting to say he graduated in either '99 or 2000, but I could be wrong.

I loved watching him play as there was never a dull moment, and the other teams/their fans absolutely hated him and he wanted it no other way. I always remember him coming down and pulling up from the volleyball line and Coach Garrett screaming at him and stomping his foot, then just sitting down and shaking his head when it woulg go in

I noticed no one mentioned many Trimble players. I remember Trent Patton lighting it up from outside. How about Matt Christman that is now playing at Rio :?:

Awesome player. I played against Rick and his older brother Randy. Both execllent players.

What about Chuck Robinson from Fed Hock. The very first "super star" in the TVC. FH all time leading scorer. Recruited by several MAC schools. Now the AD at Athens. I believe he graduated in 1971
