There are so many things going on at next Friday's match-up between the Vikes and Belpre...Dash for Cash, White Out, Hall of Fame Induction , Dut going for his 1,000 point mark...I think every Viking Fan should make the pilgramage to Valhala and be there for this historic night..not to mention being there for the WIN !!!

All the appetizers sound great...but the main course will not be well-taken by non-vike fans.
Warren just beat them by about 6,000...I imagine VC will win by a good bit.
Best of luck to Guthrie....not too many active SE players in the 1,000 club right now

VC by as many as they want. With no big man in the middle look for Guthrie to pass 1000 by halftime. Good Luck to both teams.
VC 79
Belpre 47

This match-up will only fuel the happy thoughts that I've seen on other threads concerning the overall "state-of-the state" concerning Belpre Basketball.
Sorry, but I just see more finger-pointing and bit*hing about the kids and the program after the outcome of this game.
I hope that I'm wrong!

sd- All I can say about this one is-
"Hold on to her Newt, she's headed for the alfalfa patch"
Just a bit of trivia for ya...
Maybe Belpre can keep'em under a 'hundred.

You are 100% right! I am a Belpre guy but the basketball program and its supporters are less to be desired.

G.W. here is some local trivia for ya...the judge's REAL first name is "Newt" -- No Lie.
I will say that if the Vikings come out and play, grab a good lead, I will suspect we will see a "meltdown." If not, the Vikings can be in for a good old fashion "slobber-knocker."

otterslide, why dont you stick to wrestling and stop making negative comments about the basketball players, they got a very nice TEAM effort tonight and got a win.

Vikes should win big, but could be a good game for about a quarter

Well Hawkeye, that would be the honorable Judge Newton Robert Grillo!

Grillo? Hmmm.....Grillo? Nope, never heard of him. Come to think of it there was a little Bobby Grillo that played for McArthur back in the 50's. Could that be the same guy?
