Sectional tourney drawings for D-2 teams?
Sectional tourney drawings for D-2 teams?
Anybody have all the drawings for the Southeastern Ohio D-2 teams?
I know Gallipolis was seeded 6th at Wellston and will play No. 3 seed Fairfield Union on Friday, Feb. 15, at 8:30 p.m. in the Wellston gym. First game that evening will be No. 4 Marietta vs. No. 5 Sheridan at 6 p.m.
Vinton County was seeded No. 1 and Warren Local No. 2.
No. 7 Meigs will play No. 10 Athens in first round action with the winner facing Warren Local. No. 8 New Lexington will battle No. 9 Jackson with the winner facing Vinton County.
Four teams will advance to the district in the Convo at Athens this winter.

So you won't tell me? That tells me VC hasn't beaten anyone with a winning record. VC deserves the number 1 seed because of their record and the fact that this sectional is extremely WEAK. I have no idea who Warren has beaten. Maybe someone else can tell me who Vinton County has beaten with a winning record because I don't know.

I am a Warren fan, and VC deserves the #1 seed they were rewarded with.
If Warren does not lose to FF and Maysville - at home - then IMO, maybe you could argue that they might deserve some consideration for a 1 seed, with their only losses being 2 to Ville and 1 to Chilly. But they lost those 2 they should not have lost.

baller3,
Probably want to save the discussions for the District. I believe it is clear that the Southeastern Sectional is tougher then the Wellston, but we all have to play the games. I agree that VC deserves the #1 seed, but I believe Warren would give them all they can handle.
GO CAVS!!!
