Biggest SE District Upsets Thus Far?

Here are the ones that stand out to me:

River Valley over 16-3 Oak Hill....the buzzer beater gave the Oak their 1st loss.

2-16 Jackson by 10 over 10-9 Minford

8-10 Whiteoak over 16-2 North Adams

3-14 Southeastern over 11-6 Piketon

Any out there that belong in this group?....which one is the biggest?

I'd say either River Valley over Oak Hill or Whiteoak over North Adams

Southeastern beat Piketon, at Southeastern and with their full squad for the 1st time together all year. Although, with how they've been playing lately, it does seem like a bigger upset.

Cases can be made for each of these upsets not being that surprising.

River Valley has some good size I think and Oak Hill early on at least was not a very good rebounding team.

Whiteoak played NA very tough at NA and just lost by 5...but what made it so surprising was it was coming when Whiteoak was in a losing slump of sorts and they were coached by their assistant coach (who obvioulsy did a fine job)....and funny enough when NA beat WO....NA was with their assitant coach winning over Whiteoak......so the head caoches with fewer than 5 career wins between them were 2-0 vs the coaches over 700 wins combined....but Whiteoak does have 8 wins.

I know Minford isn't the best team ever...but Jackson has had such major struggles all year and have lost every league game and about 12 in a row....you don't go with this one because they destroyed your Shermans! lol

Had SE kept winning after those players returned....it wouldn't be on this list....but they've struggled since that win.

I guess hitting a 25 foot runner at the buzzer is dominated these days, LOL.

From what I saw of Jackson, they weren't terrible early and I remember Minford struggling, plus it was early in the year. I just think that Piketon is a better team than Minford also. Minford is over .500 though and I think it is a pretty big upset.

The very next game Minford should've beat Portsmouth...took them to OT and then lost...then played Burg very tight.

Jackson owns Unioto in basketball! lol

ZT at home is like 7-1....it's a slight upset over Huntington

Unioto = Chillicothe Unioto = Chillicothe...well at least to some ignorant voters!

Zane Trace is 11-7 overall and they finished 9-1 at home.

I don't consider that game an upset. Actually, neither team played well in that game.

Portsmouth Clay getting their second win of the season in a 42-41 win over South Webster on the Jeeps home court has to be considered a big upset.

What is Clay's record vs SW's? 2-16 beats 4-14?

It surprised me for sure!....regardless of the records

Ironman- The series is 2-2 since the 2005-2006 season, not really owning, :-) LOL

So what's happening at Oak Hill? I think that them losing to Northwest is a pretty sizeable upset too!

maybe losing the love kid is hurting them more than they want to admit.

sparky- Injury or quit? I didn't even know about him not playing right now, I probably wouldn't have even questioned it if I knew that!
