Just thought I would make a topic that we could talk about all Southern basketball issues, not just game by game.

I have not seen them as much as I'd liked, but I think Coach J Caldwell has them playing well. Glad to see them Friday night not depend so much on the 3 pointers.
They, to me, play well as a team. Now, what's up with the reserve only having 6 players? What's up with that?
Now, have they made tournament pics yet? That time has to be coming up soon?

Southern only has 17 players for JV and Varsity, with a couple boys out with injuries, coach caldwell had to move up some players, and not some players play both.
Yes the tourney picks have been made and Southern plays Trimble at Athens HS on Feb 18.

Hey just thought id like to mention the Seniors who are playin their final game at home on Friday night vs. Miller...
Ryan Chapman, Kreig Kleski, Brett Beagle and Trenton Roseberry. You guys need to go out on a bang, so win these next to games at home.

At Racine......I know the schedules most of you have dont have that game on it. But tip off is at 6 PM in Racine.

hate to disagree but both eastern and southern have showed that they are champions. i have no dog, in this fight though sadly our school was a dog. if speed matters eastern will win, if size matters southern. let's have a good game without any bad feelings. hey either way a local team wins!

Well if the boys win this game maybe they can get back to state and shut this clown up. If not they will have to be satisfied with another almost district championship. I for one wont be satisfied till they make it back to the state like back in my day. If they do, then I will go watch. If they lose they will just have to celebrate almost winning the district without me.

Coach has done a great job with this team. They play very well together. A team concept, no doubt about it.
Coaches did a great job managing this game today.

Is this koondogger or whoever he is serious ? Is he talkiing about the same Trimble team that got beat by 29 points in their first tournament game and he's putting down Southern.....who just won the district ?
