Does anyone know Fairfield's record? I just went to their school website and it has the schedule but not the results.

I think Fairfield is 10-11 and they were 1-20 last year. They are coached by 1st year coach Matt Carson who is just 21 years old.

They have some nice players and play some scrappy defense.

They could give the Oaks some trouble....but if the Oaks take care of the ball (and I assume they will), rebound well and hit a few shots they'll advance.

For Fairfield to win...just about everything must go their way.

It should be a great game. The leesburg boy's have fought hard all year, playing a tough schedule outside of the SHL.

They are a young team with a young coach but they are hungry.

If the Oak's let them stay in it late look out.

Good luck to both teams.

Oak Hill really impressed me against Miller. Ondrea is an incredible talent and JD Hale moves very well for a big man. The Slone kid plays really smart, which makes me think he must take after his mother.

Defensively, they played a pretty quick, aggressive zone and crashed the boards.

Oak Hill should go pretty deep in the tourney.

And the kick in the teeth for anyone whose got em next year is that I don't think they're loosing anyone.

Should be a great match up. Oak Hill from what I hear plays a lot of zone and Fairfield likes to slow the ball down. Both have some size but I believe the advantage goes to Oak Hill. I think Oak Hill has the guard advantage and of course the advantage of having a Hall of Fame coach. But like in the post before, Fairfield is playing hard right now.

Hall Of Fame Coach vs. 21 Year Old, 1st Year Coach

I think Coach Carson has done an outstanding job this season and just getting to the Convo is a very good thing for them this season. I think Oak Hill has the distinct advantage, but it's going to be a good learning expirence for everyone involved with Fairfield's program.

I think Oak Hill will take this game. Just hope it is a decent game and injury free.

We know that Ondera is just simply...quite the player that wants the ball when it matters and Hale is the solid 6'6 kid of a coach that does things very well. Jesse Slone is wise beyone his years on his court awareness and a good defender....but I'm wondering how many remember that Ryan Borden was all-SEOAL as a sophomore last year and you just don't hear much about him. I know on a lesser team he could go for 20 a game and I've seen him cause fits to the best PG on the opposing team with his defense..and I've seen few get hotter from three land.

If he steps up....no one will touch the Oaks until the Barn.

"Hall Of Fame Coach vs. 21 Year Old, 1st Year Coach"

Don't sell the Fairfield coaching staff short. The man setting next to Coach Carson has had great success and is no stranger to Athens.

They'll be prepared.

Go Lions !!!!
