It sounds like Waterford played a pretty clean game.

Except for the fact that Cunningham climbed all over our boys' backs and didn't get called for it at all!!!!!!!!!!

Big kids like that just get by with a lot because of their height. If you watch many of Waterford's games he always gets by with it(over the back). It's just another aspect of the game to be dealt with. Eastern was able to keep him under control a couple of weeks ago. He still got his blocks and rebounds though.

Cunningham has a big advantage just because he is so much taller than anyone on the court. Sometimes just because he has that advantage all he has to do is go straight up and reach over the top with those long arms. He is so much taller that you can have him boxed out and he can still get the rebound just reaching over the other players without being on the back. I would not believe it unless I saw it but this is true.

great point there about being "on the back". There is no call as "over the back" . Taller players can and many times do have the ability to go over top of smaller players. I must say, South Gallia really showed some heart by keeping this a ball game. Great job by the Rebels.

No there is not a call called over the back, when they call it they call it a foul. ;-)

I'll have to give SG some credit they did come out ready to play, and played a darn near perfect game. However Waterford played a pretty bad game and cunningham sat the whole 1st qtr. You will see a total different team next Monday at the Convo.. Maybe next year Rebels

There were 2-3 travel calls at the end of the game that were terrible...The DVD was looked in SLOWMO and never should a travel of been called. Its a shame that this happens to kids....

It sure sounds like the refs took the win away from the Rebels :?:

The refs had nothing to do with the loss. Waterford showed that they were the better team in the second half. And the South Gallia fans had nothing to wine about to the refs and neither did Waterford.

That was because Waterford played inside in the paint and took the ball to the hole while south galia was jacking up 25 footers all night, it wasnt a coincidence.
