I want to send out congrats to all the super kids from Western (Latham) for making it. Especially Vince Shanks and Sarah Stratman for making first team. These are two great kids who not only play sports all year long for their school but are both National Honor Society members and just all around good kids. They are the kind of kids that everyone dreams about raising and are great role models for all the younger kids at Western. Sarah will be greatly missed next year and everyone here is thrilled we have Vince one more season (contrary to him being listed as a Senior he is actually a Junior).

ill agree with that O.D.78. after reading the article in the chillicothe gazette, "thanks for shanks", it sounds like vince is a pretty intelligent, easy going kid. this was definitly a much deserved honor for shanks. i hope the indians are able to put another win under their belts on saturday. congrats to all who made it.
