Great to see Portsmouth Trojans freshman Andrew Bendolph named Honorable Mention All-State. Could be the school's all-time leading scorer when he's done.

Congratulations to Drew Spradlin for being named All State 1st Team. Does anyone know of other Wheelersburg athletes who received All State 1st Team in both football and basketball during their high school careers? Also, was named Player of the Year for both football (offensive) and basketball in District honors.
Cool.
Congrats to all the other SOC players named to the All State team. Nice honor.

The only other one I can think of that might possibly have done that would be Brian Bays, but of that I'm not sure.

If I remember correctly, I think Jonathon was hurt his senior year towards the end of the football season and missed a lot of the 1st half of the basketball season. That may have been the year they had the 11-9 regular season record, knocked off #1 Chesapeake in the Sectionals and made it all the way to the Regional finals.

So I would doubt in he made 1st team in basketball that year, but I could be wrong.

Congradulations to Cunningham from Waterford. He made third team Ohio All-State plus he is a junior special mention.
Cunningham was also a sophamore special mention.
I also heard that the D-1 Greyhounds called Cunningham after the regional game and asked to play with them. I understand that he excepted. This is a great oppurtunity for him. The BIG man can run the floor is what I heard the scout told the Greyhound coach.
CONGRADULATIONS YOUNG MAN I'M SURE EVERYONE including your home town, coaches, and parent's are proud of you!!! Go show them what you are made of. You are a TEAM player.
