Waterford 67 Belpre 56

Final

Waterford was down 4 at the half. Close game about halfway thru the 4th; Belpre drew a foul, but kid who drew the foul got a technical. He made both his FTs and Belpre was down 55-52, but Waterford got 2 FTs and the ball and pulled away.

Tavian Miller with a game-high 22 pts for Belpre.. Waterford led by a balanced scoring attack -- Wyatt Lang led with 14 followed by Bryce Hilverding's 12, Cody Harris' 9 and Isaac Huffman's 8.

Cats now 14-4 overall and 12-2 in the TVC Hocking. Belpre 11-10 and 9-6.

Your exactly right that was the turning point of the game.Waterford got the ball out after making the free throws and made a 3 and Belpre was down 6 and never recovered.Those kind of things have hurt Belpre all year and cost them quite a few ball games.
